reflecting...

I guess i liked blogging. its away to express yourself and you have the freedom to talk about anything you wish. If your mad you can blog about who and what pissed you off and you may feel better about it later. If your happy you can blog about how good your day was. You can even use blogging as your way to get some advice on difficult situations. People will read your blog and comment giving you advice to help you as best they can. There is alot of positive things that can come from blogging.

Its a nice day out.....

Happy St. Patricks day kids, its a nice day out too right? I dont know whats up with every body and why when we get a little bit of good weather, people feel the need to act out and show off. The little kids in the neighborhood are all trying to fight eachother and all the adults are outside arguing with eachother very loudly. All of the gangsta's and hustla's are grouping up on the corners...its a mess. People are even acting a fool in school, I dont know how many arguments occured yesterday in SOTA. People need to get it together.

response to the chewing cocoa leaves

I dont think chewing the cocoa leaves should be illegal. It dosent seem to really be harming anyone or their health. The people of Bolivia use it ritually and religiously. Its a part of their culture and i believe it should be left alone because thats disrespectful to their lifestyle to take it away from them. And even if they do make it illegal, that doesnt mean people wont do it. Its the same with marijuana. Its supposed to be illegal but alot of people still use it.

Superlatives...

These senior year superlatives are becoming a problem. Nothings going to be correct. People arent voting according to who fits the description best. They are voting based on popularity or who thier friends are. I think its going to be a hot mess. People are going to be mad when we figure out who got what. Its going to be hillarious, i cant wait!

Women and violence responce.

I think the numbers for abused women are out of control. I for one dont understand why women tolerate the violence. They always fall into that role of being the weaker one against the male, not true. However, i think women take advantage of the fact that they can get away with alot more. Theres like an unwritten rule that men should never hit women, and i agree, but at the same time, if a girl is continuously beating on one of my little brothers, even after he's asked her to stop, i would hope he defends himself. Personaly, i wish a man would try to put his hands on me. Not only will i beat him down, but so will my daddy, my step-daddy, all of my uncles, all of my cousins, my lil brothers, my big sister.....&& besties. But i would never take advantage of the fact that im a woman.

Barbie response.

I personaly hate barbies and always have. My mom eventually stopped buying them for me cause she realized i was never going to be into them. Firstly because back in the day, you very rarely found an african american doll, and when you did she was really ugly. Barbie is supposed to be a childrens icon. Kids look at her as being perfect and how they should be. No one really looks like her, at least no one who hasnt had plastic surgery.

so unappreciated...would it hurt to say thank you?!

You know what pisses me off?...How i'm constantly doing everything i possibly can to help my friends and i never get a thank you. I help one friend with her life issues and i'm always there to talk and to be a shoulder to cry on. I also try to help this girl to get over something that i know is going to be an obstacle in her life later, when she has to live life on her own. You think i got a thank you from her...very rarely!
Another homegirl of mine only seems to be attracted to guys who eventually do her wrong. I seem to be good with sensing if they're bad or not. I always tell her if i think one is a cheater or if hes going to mistreat her. She doesnt listen to me at first, but eventually she investigates and finds out that im right, always. You think i ever got a thank you from her...No!
My other Best friend just seems to get into trouble all around. She used to mess with guys who would do her wrong and she never stood up for herself, so i would be the one cursing the guy out and telling him he should stay away from her. Then she found a boo that everyone else in the school had a crush on. And when some females so called themselves hating her because of it, i was the one waiting for them to say something to her so i could handle it. I was always trying to protect her. You think i got a thank you from her...Hell No! Actually, i got a big slap in the face (i guess im over it now).
This is where my problem comes in, I have a best friend whos always appreciated the little things i've done for her, but shes never actually, seriously needed my help, and finally when she needed me, i let her down. I didnt protect her, and she would have appreciated me for it. Well, i'm here now and i'm sorry best friend.

My response to: to execute or not.

I believe the death penalty should be completely illegal in all states. Firstly, i dont see how killing someone punishes them for thier crime. They no longer have to face what they've done cause thier dead. I think it makes more sense to give them life in prison. Thats a good punishment because they have to spend the rest of their life in a place where they are constantly watched and limited on what they can do. And during this time they think daily about the crime they committed that put them in this position and they'll be miserable for the rest of thier days. I agree that the death penalty is a waste of time and money, especially if it cost ten times more to kill the prisoners than to keep them alive. We're already in a bad economical situation, i highly doubt this is helping! The death penalty is tens of millions of dollars that we could be using to pay off some of the debt America owes, and to helping the economy.

Music of the 90z!!!

I miss the music from the nineties. I'm not saying theres no good music out now. Theres a few artists and a few songs that i think are worth listening to now. The music from the nineties had way more meaning though, and artists didnt have to come up with stupid, simple dances to sell records. The beginning of this decade wasnt too bad, i guess, but the further we go, the worse the music gets.

My response on the assisted suicides.

I believe if people want to die, to be put out of thier misery when they have a deadly illness, they should have that right. However, i do believe it should be doctor assisted. I disagree with having random people assist you and tell you how to kill yourself. That seems really stupid. I understand that its illegal in some states, i think it should be legalized. The only thing that makes me second guess this is that people might some how take advantage of it. so thats my response, although i really dont care about this issue because people can do whatever they want with thier lives, it has nothing to do with me.

I'm never going to blow up!!!

We all know Chrishaia is not a big person. i'm 5'5 and only 122.5 lbs. I have a very high metabolism, which i got from my dad. However, many of you may not know that i eat ALOT!!! Not quite as much as jhahiva, but im pretty close. Also, i dont always eat healthy, i'm a junk food addict. So, i went to the doctors recently, and my doctor told me that if i continue to eat the way i eat, i'm going to blow up (as in get fat). He says my metabolism is going to slow down. But my dad is still small and hes 34 years old, i think im going to take after him. But if i do get big, that will be okay, i need a little thickness anyway.
